The server enchanter, accessed using /enchanter

/enchanter can be used to open an interactive window in which a variety of actions can be performed. In this window, there are 3 general actions that can be taken, tinkering, alchemy, or creating an enchantment. Enchanting is essential to the endgame of Characterlim-Ages, providing a variety of defensive, offensive, and pure utility talents.

Tinkering[edit | edit source]

Tinkering is a method of using enchanting books that you don't want as a way to improve other enchanting books. This process involves sacrificing an enchanting book in order to receive Magic Dust and XP. Magic Dust can be used to improve the chance of success of an enchanting book of the same tier as the one sacrificed. However, this process can sometimes fail and not give you Magic Dust at all. Due to the random nature of creating an enchantment, tinkering makes getting a bad enchant feel not as bad.

Alchemy[edit | edit source]

The alchemy menu allows the combination of enchanting books and Magic Dust. The Magic Dust is sacrificed to empower the enchanting book, increasing the success chance of the book.

Creating an Enchantment[edit | edit source]

Enchantment books can be created by picking an enchantment category and paying the XP cost. There are 6 categories: Simple, Unique, Elite, Ultimate, Legendary, and Heroic. They each cost increasing amounts of experience.

Upon paying the XP cost, and upon confirmation, you are given a random enchantment from that category. This enchantment will have a random success and destruction chance. To enchant something, simply drag the enchantment book over the item you want to enchant and left click. If the enchantment is a success, the enchantment will be added to the selected item without an XP cost. If the enchantment fails, the book is destroyed and the enchantment is not applied.

Risks of Enchantment[edit | edit source]

Enchantment books have a chance to fail. This chance to fail can be reduced through the use of Magic Dust, obtained through tinkering. However, to fully protect an item from the risks of being destroyed by an enchanting book is through the use of a White Scroll. White Scrolls can be fished up in a special fishing area in the spawn area. A White Scroll grants an item complete protection from being destroyed by an enchantment book, however the enchantment book can still be destroyed in the process.

Master Blacksmith Chance to heal your most damaged piece of armor by 2-3 durability whenever you hit a player, but when it procs your attack will deal between 75%-100% damage. Requires Blacksmith V enchantment on item to apply. Axe 5
Master Inquisitive Heroic Enchantment. Massively increases EXP drops from mobs. Requires Inquisitive IV enchant on item to apply. Sword 4
Mega Heavy Decreases Damage from enemy bows by 10% plus an additional 2% per level. Requires Heavy V to apply. Armor 5
Mighty Cactus Heroic Enchantment. Injures your attacker but does not affect your durability. Requires Cactus II to apply. Armor 2

Reflective Block Heroic Enchantment. A chance to greatly or completely negate incoming damage while blocking, and to reflect an incoming attack back on the attacker whether you are blocking or not. Requires Block III to apply. Sword 3
Reinforced Tank Decreases damage from enemy axes by 1.85% per level. Requires Tank IV to apply. Armor 4
Shadow Assassin Heroic Enchantment. The closer you are to your enemy, the more damage you deal (up to 1.875x). However, if you are more than 2 blocks away, you will deal LESS damage than normal. Requires Assassin V. Sword 5
Soul Hardened Up to 50% chance to block enemy soul trap, armor takes less durability damage. Requires Hardened III to apply. Armor 3
Soulbound A chance to keep item on death. Weapons, tools 3
Titan Trap Heroic Enchantment. A chance to give a longer lasting buffed slowness effect. Requires Trap III to apply. Sword 3
Vengeful Diminish Ensures that the next strike against you only deals 50% of the damage inflicted and any extra above that will be returned to the attacker. Requires Diminish VI enchant on item to apply. Chestplate 6
